Undergraduate
Program -- International Studies Concentration
The
International Studies concentration allows students to integrate the study
of foreign language with courses on International topics and a regional
focus correlated with the language chosen. Students are required to study
foreign language through the third year of the curriculum at UB.
The curriculum includes prerequisite courses --
UGC 112 “World Civilization II”,
PSC 102 “International Politics"
as well as...
language,
Economics, Comparative Politics, or Economic Geography,
a core of courses on international issues and world trade and commerce,
and a Regional Focus on “Modern Europe”, “Latin America”, “Asia”, or “Africa and the Middle East”.

Double majors are encouraged.
International Studies students
may be eligible for nationally competitive scholarships
for undergraduate or subsequent graduate study.
